FAQs
Is there downtime with receiving a chemical peel?
Answer: This really depends on two factors, what level of strength the peel is and what type of peel. You may have a several day healing process, or no downtime at all.
Following the treatment you will be a bit red but able to go about your day as normal. Load up on sunscreen, wear a hat and try to stay out of the sun as much as possible for the full healing process.
How do I know if the chemical peel actually worked if I didn’t have any post-peeling?
Answer: Peeling varies from person to person, not everyone peels but the activated ingredients in the treatment still worked.
Does dermaplaning cause your hair to grow back faster, darker, and/or thicker?
Answer: No, absolutely not.
Will I breakout after receiving a facial treatment?
Answer: Depending on your skin condition’s the answer is both yes and no, both answers are considered OK. The process of receiving a facial is to deeply cleanse your skin from oil, dirt, and bacteria which essentially is clearing out your pore’s. Any other formation of blemishes that have not yet reached the surface prior to your facial treatment will most likely appear days after as part of the clearing process.
